Four days in a castle in the hills.

Thirty-five people, four days, and a castle in the hills just outside Barcelona. Levellr didn't want a quick offsite, they wanted proper time together, the kind you only really get when you're all under one roof for a few days with nowhere else to be.

We found them a renovated castle: a pool, more rooms than they knew what to do with, corners to co-work in, and a view over the mountains that did half our job for us. We created a team competition, tailored to them. On the first morning we split everyone into teams, and those teams stuck for the whole trip, picking up points at every turn. It gave the four days a thread, and brought out the competitive energy within the group.

Around that we kept a good rhythm: work sessions by day, long tapas dinners in the evening, and a few activities sprinkled in between. A beach day of very competitive Beach Olympics (volleyball at one end of the scale, giant skis at the other), and a scavenger hunt on day three. By the end it didn't feel like four separate days. It felt like one very good one that happened to last a while.
